Been on antibiotics on and off for a year and have definitely improved but still have bouts of unexplained lightheadedness. Very frustrating. Sometimes seems to come on unexpectedly and hard to say when it's going to dissipate.

Any remedies for getting rid of lightheadedness or making it more bearable?

Thanks!

Check side effects of all meds, for one thing.

Finding the source of the problem is the key.

Do you have POTS? If so, increased salt in the diet or a supplement like Thermotabs can help a lot.

As WPinVA mentions, POTS sounds likely. Similar, NMH. Both are mix-ups with blood pressure dropping when it should not. POTS is orthostatic, NMH is neutrally mediated hypotension. Both very common with lyme.

Oh, no. I thought it was in the cardiac links but can't find it there now.

Also to consider: vestibular issues (inner / middle ear):

This details the author's experience with NMH (neutrally mediated hypotension)

You ask what can help now, as you figure this out.

GINGER capsules can help in inner / middle ear related.

HAWTHORN can also be a very nice support for the heart. It really helped me with NMH.

WPinVA's suggestion of considering salt or Thermotabs . .. SEA salt a good way, there.

Adrenals can also be involved in POTS & NMH. Sea salt really helps adrenal function. Wilson's book details how to use it. And other adrenal support may be very helpful.
