A question for the cortisol testing gurus out there -
My AM blood cortisol level just came back normal at 13.9. (They said the reference range is 4.0-22.0)
Question: can I still have adrenal fatigue with this normal number?
I feel like adrenal symptoms have crept back in (and would be expected given some needed steroid use)
And yes, I know that the saliva test would be better but you can't take that if you're on steroid asthma inhalers, which I regrettably am. So the blood test is what I took.

I'm no guru but I did the saliva test and my morning cortisol was pretty normal, but it crashed big time during the day. So I think the answer is yes, you can have a normal morning cortisol level and still have adrenal problems.
My naturopath put me on a couple different supplements that seem to be helping this, but I'm nervous about weaning off of them.
