Hi It has been a while I have not posted anything but I always read and check here almost everyday. You might remember my daughter diagnosed with Lyme en of this summer( IgM neg IgG positive)and she used 28 days antibiotics and we saw LLMD and first she did not give anything just ordered Lyme test through igenex and co infections. IgG and IgM came back positive plus Bart. Babesia test result came back negative
. She does not show any symptoms other than mood swings and being so sensitive and emotional (you might say these are the symptoms) but it was not like all the time. It's like one week of the month she is crazy and after that she turns back to normal.
Doctor with those result gave her herbal stuff which is BB-1, Bar-1, tox-ease, probiotic and methyl-B factors drops.
She used these drops for almost 1 1/2 months and after we increase the drops she got crazy I mean she was always angry, mood swing,so emotional,crying for everything. we had phone appointment with doctors after month of using these stuff then she prescribed antibiotics azithromycin.
We are using it for like 11 days and she seems okay and I don't know she acts normal no change on her behaviors yet. Hopefully won't see it any.
I just wonder since she is using antibiotic should I give him any extra things other than probiotic? Should I give her anything to prevent yeast infection?
We will have an appointment with doctor on 22 nd of this month. I read for bartonella treatment you should use more than one antibiotic but I call and ask doctor about it and she said because of her age she will increase it gradually. I don't know how long she will use antibiotics.
What should I ask to the doctor on our next visit? What should give her extra or ask for? Hopefully she will get the right treatment And we found the right doctor for her. . Thank you so much.

It looks like her doctor knows how to treat lyme with both herbs and abx (beyond balance formulas).
how old is your daughter?
have you got lyme yourself? I know what herxes are, and fortunately, that helped to treat my daughter. She was only 1 when she got lyme first time.
Mood swing does not come only with infections, but MOSTLY due to herxes or toxins, or electrosmog.
We followed dr. K (seattle) practitioners, but here in Europe. They all load us with binders, such as chlorella, bear garlic, MSM and other homeopathic stuff. Plus tapping the meridians (it takes just 2 minutes or less).
My daughter had to be on a mix of chlorella + bear garlic tincture + enzymes (Rechtsregulat) + flaxseed oil + cardamon in powder + propolis + honey (for taste) drops for very long.
She took that 3 times a day or more, during lyme treatment, for months, years on. Sometimes I took off propolis and rechts, but the rest, she took for many years really.
MSM also works fast, but it is very bitter. So we'd rather take the natural mixture above. It binds heavy metals, neurotoxins, most herxheimer reactions will be cleared with that simple mixture.
Taking these binders or not taking them is like night and day: the child will be very calm, no anxiety, happy, sleep well, in good mood, go to school, have less herx pain, no headache.
Just miss the binders and hell starts. Hell starts for the whole family, because no one can be in good mood with a cranky baby/ child. She grew up, and we continued with some of the herbs even after lyme went dormant, specially chlorella.
Children that grow on chlorella will usually have healthy teeth growth, said dr. K. My daughter has some immunity problems since she was born, but her new teeth grows on time, baby teeth fall on time, and all of them are in good health, so far (she's now 12).
I see much stronger kids around us here, who have amazingly so many teeth problems (not growing properly, baby teeth do not fall, they get so many cavities etc). And they are much stronger than my daughter (no lyme despite so many tick bites, no food allergy, etc).
My daughter is so weak, but I think chlorella really helped her (she's on chlorella since age 1).
It has something inside called chlorella-growth-factor that dr. K. thinks help growing good teeth.
If you start with binders, start one at a time, wait for a week testing it, then try another until her body can get used to them (and that you know she has no allergic reaction).
You can write me a pm if you'd like. If she is big, you can try MSM, which is pure organic sulfur. Not everyone can take it, but if she digests onions and other food with sulfur, she may have no problems with it.
MSM binds to sooo many nasty toxic things (practically everything), plus it seems to help killing babesia to some people!
You can ask your doctor, for sure. Most doctors are though clueless with herxes, and like patients, they think most symptoms come from infections! It is NOT TRUE.
If you take binders in good amounts and combinations regularly in a day (about 3-6 times a day), you see that it is perfectly possible to take killers and only improve, with barely any problems like fatigue, air hunger, heart issues, GI problems, tummy ache, headache, anxiety, mood swings, insomnia etc.
the way I found out my daughter's binders and amounts was through energetic tests. But you can do trial and error too... It just takes about 10 times longer to find out.
At least, that was what we learned during lyme.

I take saccharomyces Boulardii for good yeast. You can order it on-line. I'm also on an anti-fungus medication to keep yeast from building up.

My son was 10 when he got lyme and bart. He was on abx for 5 months. He was on Omniceft, Zithromax, tinidazole, and biaxin. We started the herbs when he came off the abx, Byron White Lyme and Bart and did this for 6 months. He took tons of probiotics and nyastian the anti fungal. I gave him these an hour to 2 hours after taking the abx and he did not get yeast.
Good luck to you and your child. It is so tough to see your child go through something like this.

Ok, I just went back and read your old post and you saw the same LLMD as we did. We traveled out of state to go there and it was worth it. You are in good hands. Good luck.
