I've been feeling comparatively better on Sida Acuta and Cryptolepis. I'm still having weird nerve issues but the SWEEEEAAAAATS are like, gone since I started taking them.
What I thought would happen when I sent my blood out to Armin labs is that they would find - maybe -- a negative immunospot but *something* would show up for the co's. Anything, ehrlichia, anaplasma, something.
So I figured if I even hit ONE co titer I'd be reassured I was on the right track here.
But that did not happen. I have tested negative twice for all coinfections, once in Germany, once through Labcorp.
It's weird because first of all the Sida and Crypto brought relief from at least one symptom in ONE DAY. I also had an immediate response to Bactrim, another Bart/Babs killer.
But my immune system really is not that bad. My IGGs and IGMS are in a decent range and cd57 is 61 -- not great but there shouldn't be anything that stops me from making some kind of antibody to something.
I know these are stealth infections but I'm told the testing for a couple of these others, like Babesia, are somewhat dependable.
I don't get it. It's weird to treat something you know is there but refuses to tell anyone but you.

There are not tests for all the species that are out there. If you could find someone now that would do a blood smear, that might be useful. But hard to find, maybe impossible. Very labor intensive. Everything automated now.

You can see babesia under microscopy. ...have you seen your blood?

No...I don't think they do that here. Like poppy said, everything is automated these days. I asked the hematologist if he could check for parasites in my blood and he said he would have no idea how to do that .
