Hi folks:

Anyone here have issues due to Lyme & co with sinuses and / or post nasal drip?

I had issues early in 2015 when I was off abx and on herbs with ear fullness with accompanying woozy/spacy feeling and post nasal drip. It went away when I was off of the herbs and on abx in the fall.

When I went off abx in December, I had a huge relapse in this with a lot of full ears, post nasal issues and now sinus congestion issues.

I get lots of "clicks" and noises in my various sinuses. When I have a flare up, I get top of head pressure, post nasal, and feel very woozy/weird/spacey. This is usually with hot flashes and sweats.

Did any of you have symptoms like this and did they go away? If so, how?

I'm trying to figure out if this is Babesia, or Bart/CPN, or Protomyzxoa, or other. I HATE IT.

I restarted Rifampin and Mino in early January and had days of it where it would go away. 3 days in Jan with very clear head and 5 in early Feb. But it has gotten worse since I started artemisinin and ivermectin in Feb.

It is worse after I fly in an airplane.

Yup, exactly same symptoms as my husband. He also travels for work via airplane & helicopter. Additionally the sinus problems were exacerbated by forced heat or air conditioning in hotel rooms, etc.,...

Hard to get rid of without addressing the biofilm. Biofilms are a protective layer created by colonies of bacteria. The bacterial colonies produce these biofilms to provide what is essentially an impenetrable coccoon that is extremely hard to disrupt.

This is why rounds of antibiotics or other treatments don't seem to help.

There are several anti-biofilm agents (many plant based) out there. Our LLMD put my husband on a Xylitol based nasal spray and added an anti-biofilm formula to his protocol. Also upped lymph support with a Red Root tincture formula. It made a huge difference. Along with careful diet he finally found relief.

Avoiding dairy, sugars, gluten and any 'mucus producing' foods like bananas is super beneficial as these foods worsen the condition. A couple of great foods to increase are garlic, ginger, and radishes.

Sounds odd, but this home brew offered immediate relief for the sinus pain, headaches and post nasal drip:
Boil water, pour in mug and steep 1 part garlic clove with an equal part ginger. Both garlic & ginger should be chopped up, and use one of those tea strainers. Then add cayenne pepper and fresh lemon - may also add some good honey, stevia (antibiofilm agent) or Agave nectar.
