After being off ABX for 3 years, Lyme may be back again with headaches, stiff neck, brain fog etc. the symptoms are all manageable so far as I take good care of myself.
I have a two month wait before seeing my LLMD who originally treated me so I am working with my family doctor in the meantime who is very open minded to ILADS treatment.
I just tested Igenex positive (not CDC positive) but the IGG numbers were very weird. I was wondering if someone can make sense of this:
Any help interpreting these results would be appreciated.
Thanks, Randy

That's a positive test. However, if you already knew you had Lyme in the past, you don't really need to retake a test. The tests only show antibodies, not whether the disease is active. Once you know you have had exposure, you go by symptoms.
If you're having symptoms, you need to do something. If the symptoms are manageable, I'd personally try herbs to knock it back down. And I'd work on getting my body stronger. Nothing is stronger at fighting than our own immune systems.

Thanks for the input. I already take a lot of supplements, just as I did when I was on ABX three years ago. I will likely have to knock it back down with ABX for a while again (sigh).
What herbs are you referencing?

There are various herbal protocols for Lyme treatment. One is Stephen Buhner's, he has a website with information. The herbs can actually do the killing instead of abx. Maybe they won't be strong enough, but if you're catching the symptoms early, maybe they will be.
