Any experiences with oral lamisil for candida? I haven't taken a prescription antifungal in a while. I suspect yeast has a lot to do with my lingering issues so I want to start attacking it again.

Or any opinions on which prescription antifungal to take? Took lots of diflucan a few years back and it stopped working.

Already take good supplements and probiotics and they do help but need more.

thanks!

Please be careful with this drug. It almost killed my friend by shutting down his immune system and he has never been the same.

We all respond differently of course but you might want to read of the experiences of other people:

I think this is the one I reacted to. I'd have to know the generic name for it.

You might try Sporanox.

Oh my. Email into LLMD asking for an alternative.

Generic name is Terbinafine.

Thank you!

I would consider Rife. Does it work for yeast?

It might.

Like I said, Sporanox helps. I wish I had taken less of it though!

The heart failure possibility with sporanox always scared me, but I have a lot of heart issues. I tried it for a few days once.

I've started taking things synergistic with diflucan (like minocycline) and that's what works for me right now. Diflucan alone doesn't do the job anymore.

I took lamisil pre-Lyme and it was ok. Except I was on it when Lyme erupted, so maybe it wasn't ok after all...
