Early on, when I had my first Lyme symptoms, including fatigue, I lived on Cernitin flower pollen from Sweden, which gave me back my energy. Then the company went out of business - don't know why, and I thought it was gone.
Upon being questioned about it, I looked it up and it looks like several companies are selling it!!
It's pollen that's acquired via machinery, not bees, so that cuts down on the possibility of allergic reactions to bee parts. And there's more manufacturing process that reduces the chance of allergic reactions to the pollens.
Here's a link about it - you can google it to learn more, also to see the companies selling it. Looks like it's jam-packed with nutrients, also it's anti-inflammatory.
Do you use a particular brand- if you cannot say here- can you pm me? Thanks, Robyn!

I just found out it still exists! As of 10 minutes ago! So no, I have not used it since the late 80s.
Funny reading through the links - they're posting info for prostate and urinary tract health, but I don't remember it affecting my prostate. Ok, I'm jus' kiddin! It's fantastic for energy!!
Re brands offering it - there are several - looks good -

Too funny, Robin. You had me for just a split second there, ha ha ha. It made do a double take (at least until I read the "jus' kiddin!" part), since I was sure you were female. Posted by TNT (Member # 42349) on :
What I'm saying is that I know you are female, but for a split second there I wasn't sure, ha ha.

Robin, do you get the brand, Cernitin? Or does it matter which brand you get, do you know?
I just had to go off my bio-identical hormones, due to breast cancer (arghh!), and immediately had hot flashes. My gyn recommended Relizen, which is the same thing, but a different brand. It helped! It's more expensive, though.
I didn't know that it can help with energy, which is always a huge symptom for me since the TBD's felled me.
Where do you get yours? I'm just figuring out which brand from where will be the best and the most economical. Thank you!

But it is collected by bees, or at least mixed with bee royal jelly. I like it! Made me much less depressed initially, but I've since had some depressive episodes occasionally. Hasn't seemed to help with energy - perhaps I should rotate brands just to test the different effects.

TNT, when I was in England, every time I met someone, they'd say, "But Robin is a boy's name!" So I took to saying there's a line down the Atlantic Ocean, and when you cross it, it becomes a female name. I think people believed me sometimes!
Rumigirl, I haven't tried any of these new ones yet, since we went through a Swedish company. I guess you should just look closely at what each company is offering and pick one to try. And report back...
Paleogal, I looked at the Serenol product - it contains the Swedish machinery-gathered pollen, and it has added the bee jelly as well. I cannot tell what the quantities are of anything. Perhaps that matters, re energy from a product with the plant pollen in it.
Seems to me for anyone ordering one of these products, it would be great if the comparative quantity of plant pollen in the products could be ascertained.
I recall that the Cernitin company had formulated two kinds of pollen product - one for slower, longer-lasting energy, and one for quicker burst energy. Like runners would take the quicker burst tablets.
Either one worked for me. I think I had a slight preference for the burst one, since it delivered more quickly.

Robin, are you going to use the flower pollen again? Or are you up and going again?

Oh, here you are - I just referred you to this thread today -
I don't think I'm in a rush for it now. I'm doing adequately well with my current daily regime - Armour thyroid, turmeric, mangosteen juice, noni juice, grapeseed extract, Vit C, Vit D, Host Defense (17 mushroom blend). And want to add a couple other things soon, after testing them.
Plus eating and drinking healthy -
