for several days.

I'm thirsty, and can be just fine, if sitting on a recliner for hours is fine,
then I just break out with a false heat stroke. have to run ,not walk to the bathroom and my feet feel very strange kinda tingly, numbness with the soles feeling hot.

Is any of this normal? on Llmd treatment for three years and somewhat treated two years prior. [Eek!]

Is your blood sugar high, too? That can cause the thirst and peeing. As can Diabetes Insipidus, which is a pituitary problem. Call your LLMD.

You likely also need to detox more. But be sure to call your doctor pronto (and now it's the weekend).

what more for detox...
when I lay back it's almost like a slow pass out.

how do you know if blood sugar is high.

I'm not getting out and I was the best I've been in YEARS just a couple months ago.

It snowed several times during that period, so I didn't go for walk then, now different story .

Not off of couch for weeks.. I just don't want to get stuck with four walls

Insipdus? is that Lyme related.?

when I look up Insipidus in Wikipedia it mentioned,HHLA, IS THAT THE TEST THAT SHOWS HOW HARD YOU ARE TO GET OVER THIS DISEASE.

If so my numbers were 4 3 53.?????

Ask to have your A1C checked.

You can get an in home glucose test kit. Some brands will give it to you if you have diabetes, hypoglycemia or other issues with glucose instability. Usually only a few test strips come with a unit, though, and those are so expensive to buy.

As you'd be getting this on your own and w/o an official diabetes diagnosis, insurance would not pay for test strips -- and most often won't even with a prescription and diagnosis.

Still if you can get a home test kit and test every couple of weeks, that's better than nothing. If anything is out of the ordinary, you can take concern to your doctor.

You might start by calling the diabetes patient advocacy groups, foundation, assoc. or whatever they might be called.

This explains how lyme & other chronic stealth infections can raise cortisol levels and, in turn, contribute to insulin issues / metabolic syndrome:

Site: http://www.potbellysyndrome.com/

The Potbelly Syndrome: How Common Germs Cause Obesity, Diabetes, and Heart Disease.

Hint, after reading this book immediately go here for what can HELP. Excessive urination can also be sign of adrenal distress (which goes with lyme) but also way your body is releasing inflammation (so there can be some benefits).

You can get a fairly inexpensive glucose test meter and also buy the strips from CVS or Walmart. When I test high, I take one Ceylon Cinnamon capsule every time I eat something sweet. I order the Ceylon Cinnamon from Amazon (it takes about a week for it to arrive) and that keeps my glucose within normal range.

Also, Mega Hydrate helps with thirst. I was drinking and drinking water yet still feeling thirsty until I started taking Mega Hydrate. The capsules were too strong for me and made me have to lie down (I was seeing stars). I had to empty half of each capsule into an empty 00 capsule and take one half-capsule in the morning and one in the evening. But that works just fine for me.

Wow i see stars sometimes too i thought i would get hypoglycemic eoisodes ...i was told by alternative practioner that spirulena hlps build up glucoprotiens stores in liver and that alpha lipoic acid can deplete them ..idk i am trying it and having fewer episodes .

makaka have you done a bp test standing and lying down..? I heard that heart has to work harder lying down ..maybe pots or regulating the sodium channels ..i also am constantly dehydrated. ..salt if your bp is ok ...

makaka,

Sorry I didn't come back sooner. Diabetes inspidus is a pituitary dsorder. You may have POTS, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia, which is common with Lyme. It's diagnosed with a lilt-table test by

a cardiologist (hopefully, Lyme Literate or Lyme friendly). But mine was simply diagnosed by symptoms and checking lying/sitting/standing BP by a LLPA (the one that worked w/ Dr. B for years.

Getting on Florinef (or generic), plus possibly atenolol or similar med for the tachycardia, if you have that part, is life-changing! It means I can go from lying/sitting/standing without passing out, or almost passing out. Very, very important!

It's caused (with TBD's) by the Bb damaging the ANS, Autonomic Nervous System, control of BP (blood pressure).

That's the most likely cause. But blood sugar levels should be checked, too. POTS is extremely common with Bb. It may or may not go away with treatment, depending on how long you've had the symptom----and, of course, how good your treatment is.

Get it checked ASAP. Call your LLMD. You'll appreciate getting rid of the horrible symptom.
