I know everyone's herxing is going to be different...I think I mostly want reassurance that it will stop at some point! I have a friend who says hers don't stop and she just has to stop the abx, so I'm wondering how common that is.
How about herxing from BVT? Is that just as bad as some other treatments? I'm guessing it is, but hoping it's not! I haven't yet started the BVT (and I'm not doing any other meds -- can't afford them), so I'm trying to mentally prepare myself.
How often does anyone end up going to the ER for herxing symptoms? What symptoms usually send you there?
I've gone to the ER a number of times for my migraines, so I'm really scared about how bad they might get while herxing.
Any other info/advice you might have for a newbie concerned about herxing would be very welcome.

Once my herxing got going it was nearly non-stop. It got worse every 4-6 wks, but I felt terrible almost the entire time I was in treatment, which was 4 years.
You should not end up going to the ER. If you do, you are doing it "wrong."
I was instructed to "back off the meds" if the herxing got too severe. So that is the remedy.
If you herx so hard that you end up in the ER, then you have set yourself back and will have to recover from that. It takes time.

My bee venom herx usally last like 2 days ..feel great day of stings ..on amber rose style with other things pm if you have questions ...sets and taps are a good way to start or hit accupuncture points...good to start in summer ..stings are less potent in winter
