Hi guys. I was recently diagnosed by stool test at DRG Labs with an overgrowth of Entaemoba Histolytica. I think I have finally found the cause of my symptoms [GI problems mainly, and muscle twitches, sleep problems, stiff hands, some other minor issues].

I thought I had Lyme or Bartonella but I don't think so anymore. I am technically Babesia positive on FISH and have Bart IGG titers but I'm starting to think those are incidental findings as I have no classic Babesia or Bart symptoms. So I'm putting together a strong anti protozoal/anti Entamoeba protocol, as I believe this is the root cause of my symptoms and I've heard this is a hardy organism that is very resilient.

I am already taking Doxy, Malarone, Mepron, and Tindamax with no changes in symptoms after almost 5 weeks.

I was hoping to take the following drugs, in addition to my current regimen, all at the same time to destroy these hardy intestinal organisms and any in my bloodstream:

Alinia [1000mg twice a day, 3 weeks on ,1 week off]
Ivermectin [12mg per day]
Primaquine [for the liver ones]
Pyrantel Pamoate Liquid- ???
Paramomycin- ????
Diiodohydroxyquinoline [Yodoxin]- ???
Flagyl [500mg three times a day, 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off]

I used the drugs.com interactions checker and there were no interactions for all of this. And all of my organs are healthy and just got a healthy CBC/chem panel back. Want to knock this out for good.

Can anyone recommend a therapeutic dose for each of the above medications based on what they took or researched? I already put in brackets from my research what the appropriate doses are for Alinia, Flagyl and Ivermectin, but the others? Any advice? My doc is very understanding and willing prescribe all of this stuff and look at all of the research I have presented him with.

Are any of the above listed drugs not supposed to be taken every day for weeks/months on end? Thanks

To be clear, no matter what other things might come to light or show up, five weeks of treatment is far too soon to expect a turn around. Sorry. And just about everyone with lyme also has some kind of parasites along with that.

You say you are "technically Babesia positive on FISH and have Bart IGG titers but I'm starting to think those are incidental findings as I have no classic Babesia or Bart symptoms." (end quote)

Symptoms can certainly vary. Something got you to the point of seeking out treatment and it's likely not just the Entamoeba histolytica.

You may have an important puzzle piece just please don't discount the full picture.

The specific manufacturers' websites for each Rx should have a dose range listed. It may vary for weight, size.

or the PDR.

Liver / kidney support plan is key, too.

Parasites can harbor lyme, heavy metals and other microbes so that is to be considered in advance as well, and another reason not to be in too big a hurry or have too aggressive parasite "killing" action.

The body has to be able to manage the pace.

Good luck.

My doc would never put me on the parasite meds with the current meds you are on. Way too hard on the body/liver. For me it was one or the other.

And Keebler is right, it is way too soon for you to expect much with your current mix of meds. Give it more time.

Parasite meds with malarone was the most I could do. I know others who were instructed the same: abx or parasite meds, not both. It also depends on what your doc thinks and he/she knows your history.

Check out the PARASITE WARRIOR'S THREAD. So much info there.

As far as switching over to parasite meds, I followed the Dr. K protocol but took weaker amounts. The dosages are in the PARASITE WARRIOR'S THREAD.

I forgot to mention, the one thing I could do while on abx was coffee enemas. Coffee enemas are great for getting parasites out, so that would be my choice if I were on those meds. Also the herbs that Keebler mentioned (humaworm or parastroy).

Hi,
Look for the Dr. K or Dr. C protocol. I would advice to not take the other items like Mepron, Doxy, ect with the anti-parasitics/anti-worming agents. You could take macrolides with anti-parasitics they work more effectively. I would also add Mebendazol, Albendazol, and Artimisinin. You could look for old post with my name mlg. Also, there was another gal that posted excellent stuff Neff I believe was her name.

mlg why not doxy + mepron + anti parasitics? There are no contra indications to my knowledge.

IMO and all of my top LLMD's would only approve a macrolides with rotating anti-parasitics. I think its too hard on the liver and creates too much toxins. The body can't dispose of all of the toxins.
