I think it's best to go on a noncandida diet. I did a step-down diet, first giving up sugar and bread but keeping fruit in my diet.
Then when I got over the cravings in around 10 days, I dropped the sweet fruit and stuck with vegies, lean meat, nuts and seeds and healthier breads and some other nonyeast-feeding foods.
There are lists of foods that we should eat or not eat when kicking candida that you can do a search for. There are also noncandida cookbooks. The secret is being prepared, always, with the right foods to eat.
My doctor at the time said I could cheat once a week, but I'm not sure that's a good idea, because it's so easy to fall off the wagon.

- In addition to Robin's good suggestions: Seagate Olive Leaf Extract was my ticket out of candida land.

I think a naturopath/kineseologist would be great.
The best way I've found to deal with candida is to muscle test (kineseology). Muscle testing tells me what will work for me, how much, and when. Candida is tricky. One day it's one product, another day it's something else.
Sometimes I need a probiotic, sometimes lots of them. Sometimes I need s.boullardi. Sometimes I need oreagono oil, and sometimes it's olive leaf, or berberine or more things. And sometimes I just need a different brand of all of the above. So many options but the body knows what it needs through muscle testing/kineseology.
Starving it through diet is helpful too. You can learn how to muscle test through youtubes. It's easy!

You're welcome. What a bonus to have a chiropractor too! I see one frequently--(helps me detox). Hang in there!
