I have been treated for lyme and bartonella now for a little over a year and have been seeing some great improvements on rocephin, biaxin and rifampin the last few months. However, the past few days I have had numb hands and feet, bad circulation and just feeling like not getting enough blood flow everywhere. This specific type of sensation is new for me. My doctor questions if I have babesia as I had a positive IGG on one lab test. Do you think these symptoms could be babesia?
Thank you

Hi, I looked it up in Buhners books on coinfections and par athesia is listed under neurological conditions associated with Bartonella. I couldn't find it under Babesia in Buhner's book on Babesia or in Dr. S's symptom book. It doesn't mean it can't be Babesia. I would try googling something like "Lyme par athesia."

Are you B12 levels up to snuff? Numbness in hands and feet can be a symptom of low B12

Have you ever taken Tinidazole? That can do it too.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'm ok on both fronts. Take b complex and never taken Tinidazole.
