I can't remember if I've asked this before, I couldn't find it but it doesn't mean I didn't....
The discussion about mold on another thread got me thinking, how does climate - dry or humid, low altitude or high, warm or cold, etc., affect Lyme Disease? Or air pollution even? Not in terms of acquiring it but in terms of health effects.
Is one place better to live than another once you have Lyme? For allergies, mold, etc., I have found massive differences from place to place.
Since Lyme isn't completely different from that kind of thing, I'm wondering if climate, geography, or even pollution plays a role.

Yes, they can all play a role, especially depending on how sensitive your system is to environmental factors and if you don't detox well.

I have a MTHFR mutation and my glutathione gene is absent, so detox is a major problem for me!

You're right about the allergies and mold part - there are even microclimates that affect those, and they matter!
They say that global warming means bugs and critters are moving northwards, so that could be raising the risk of infection.
