This happened last time too (11 years ago when I first had Lyme.)
My symptoms, which were the Lyme rash, sore throat, night sweats, high temps, followed by swollen knee and very painful foot & swollen ankle, are pretty much gone. Just in time to get in to LLMD on Tuesday.
What does this mean? The only remnant I have left is slightly swollen ankle. I have come very far, I couldn't walk last week!
Does this mean my own immune system got rid of the problem? I had been doing Doxy 200mg per day for a little over a month because of the rash, my GP doc had prescribed it. But I quit taking it when Hold the Mayo Infectious Disease advised me stop because of elevated liver enzymes. Been off of Doxy for a little over a week.
Has anyone else's symptoms fixed themselves? Do you expect I need Abx treatment cuz it's still in my system, even though symptoms have faded? I'm just questioning everything!!! Thanks for any insight you might have.

Bartonella can cause elevated liver enzymes. .dr m will push past to have it resolve with treatment .and the extreme joint pain...consider a dna connexions test ..or treatment with essential oils or bvt ? You are right to question ...
symptoms come and go with and without tx .. keep us posted

I would definitely take an antibiotic for a few more months. Get RID of it now while you still can.
Lyme is sneaky!

I agree with the others about symptoms coming & going, please still go to the LLMD.

Please go see a good LLMD. Nip this in the bud ASAP.

Thanks everybody! Yesterday I received a sign that it's not fixing itself. Moved up to my elbow, where I had tennis elbow (well, it was golf, really) years ago. I did absolutely nothing to cause an injury there of late. So bizarre.
