1. I'm taking a variety of meds and supplements, but everyday at lunch I take zithromax. Almost everytime, about 2 hours after, my stomach will hurt and I get diarrhea.
Has anyone else experienced this? I didn't see much on past polls. Is this a herx or do I just have a lousy stomach? I'm taking the zith in the middle of my lunch.
As far as I can tell, I haven't really herxed at all, except for maybe some weird head pain.
2. When you refer to brain fog, what do you mean? How often do you experience it? What is it like? Can you see this in test results or know the cause?

Hopefully you are taking a good Probiotic, right? That should help, but also, the bugs/mess can all hang out in the stomach and intestinal tract so i would say if it isn't debilitating try and hang with it and look at it like you're gettin rid of those nasty buggers:)

Magswag yes I lost weight on Zithromax due to diahrrea. This was 11 years ago, 1st time I had Lyme
I typically have an iron stomach

hmm, is this the only antibiotic you are taking? Do you have this reaction to other abx? Have you ever taken Zithromax or another macrolide antibiotic before?
Consider the possibility that you may be allergic/intolerant to it.

Brain fog means that your brain isn't working very well. It is as if you are in a fog. You have to work and work at thinking, doing simple math problems, driving without getting lost, remembering things, responding to a question someone asks, etc.
It is just hard to get the brain to work and it works slowly and not very well.
Sometimes there will be evidence of inflammation in the brain if you get a brain scan or a brain MRI. For example, I had 2 UBO's as they call them (unidentified bright objects) show up on my brain MRI.
Such findings on a brain scan are consistent with lyme causing inflammation, leading to low blood flow to various parts of the brain. That is what is actually causing the brain to not be able to function well.

I am also taking ceftin, difllucan, and a handful of other supplements, including an probiotic. I'm taking about 15 pills a day.
Thanks for the input.

You might want to consider a 'probiotic' supplement called Saccromyces Boullardii.
You can take it with ABX as it is a transient yeast, not a bacteria (which would be killed by the ABX and reduce effectiveness).
It helps against Diarrhoea, it is well tolerated and protects against unwanted yeast overgrowth from antibiotics.
Worth asking your LLMD about it. I've found it extremely effective.
