chest pain short of breathing occasional wheezing stuffy often runny nose low heart rate but high bp extreme fatigue constant coughing often coughing up crud
surely there must be something besides mucinex and this inhaler which makes me go into coughing spasms. I don't know if it's good or bad at this point.

The doctor wouldn't give you any antibiotics?
Is your house free of scented items? Be sure to get rid of anything that sprays scented poisons into the air.

yeah I was on flagyl, which I had to stop after 4 days due to extreme neuropathy and amoxy, for 10 days back about 2 months ago. he also gave me steroids for a week but I was so terrified of them I wouldn't take them, oh, and an albuterol inhaler.
I seem to get a little betterbut have backslid. I stopped walking because I can't breath.

I jus got back from dr. he said bronchitis and asthma. told me to take proair inhaler four times a day, gave me ceftin 500 twice a day and prednisone 20 once day for 10 days.
I really really do not want to take steriods, no way no how.
my sister is on probably 60 at least for her arthritis and it has wrecked her life.
massive weight gain, moon face, hair loss, she looks terrible.
I can't believe I have asthma at 67 years old.

Have any of the Dr's mentioned the possibility of your chronic bronchitis being from fungus?
If antibiotics aren't helping it to go away, you might need to look into it being a fungal infection.

no but there is something strange. I bought a new ford fusion two months ago. it had a very strange odor but husband jus said it was new car. I thought it smelled odd.
that was about the time all this started. the car doesnt smell as bad but to me there's a lingering sort of odor.
maybe I'm strange dont know but I've never had all these breathing problems then wham..
one sister has bad asthma and so does my nephew.
the dr today said my lungs were clear. I jus really dont want steroids.

My mom has had reoccurring bronchitis. Each time she had been given antibiotics and steroids.
She would be "okay" for a few weeks and it would come back.
She was also told her lungs were clear and she now has asthma.
It took a lot of searching and several doctors but it was finally determined to be a fungal infection.
It may be worth checking into.

Uh oh... You are probably sensitive to chemicals now... The fusion is off-gassing.
I am almost your age and was just diagnosed with asthma 6 mo ago. I think I've had it off and on for years.
Be sure to get rid of chemicals in your home so that you will lessen your load of them. Your body can handle only so much.

what's off gassing? it has cloth interior and is the titanium. model.
