I am hoping this question is appropriate to ask on here but quite frankly I don't know who to ask.
I have been in treatment for 16 days (plus some other experimental treatment of doxy for 2 weeks and amoxicillin for 1 month a few months ag). I am now on Bactrim.
Well anyway is it possible for my sex drive to return? I had non whatsoever for quite some time. I mean it's been just over 2 weeks and not even 100% sure it was lyme at beginning of treatment. Is this possible? I am recently post menopause and had kinda written THAT off but it's returned!!!

Anything is possible. Lyme affects the whole endocrine system. Maybe a surge of hormones for you. Some people have zero sex drive and some turn into rabbits. Basically everyone responds differently. We are all different. Enjoy!

Yes, Jenene. This happened to me. In fact, I went from post menopause to pre-menopause with good lyme treatment. I found out that lyme had put me into a false menopause. It does that for many.
It shrunk my ovaries to very small and stopped totally my production of estrogen and other sex hormones. With Burrascano type treatment, everything started to reverse.
So, my sex drive that had been long gone returned and it was really wonderful to be normal in that area again.
I am so happy for you. If you are responding this quickly to treatment, expect more changes to come!

Omg!! I am so hopeful!!! My hot flashes have stopped and my neck feels some what better and this latest thing!!
My husband is one happy man!!
The one downside is my nervous system has gone out of whack!! My fingers and toes keep getting wrinkly and go numb here and there and my lip has been quivering more than usual and I have a lot of internal shaking.

Yes!!!! Why?? Does that have something to do with it?

Anyway it seems to.

Actually I'm not sure if they are staying flat. They are def more sensitive like when I am typing here I feel it more than usual. It's hard to explain. They do seem to be wearing thin though
