I'm about a month into antibiotics, so far, no real improvement - which doesn't surprise me. I have a pretty strong bartonella infection as well.

How long on antibiotics before you or most people notice an improvement? And how much improvement should I be noticing?

Took about 18 months before I felt ANY better...sorry...

Between herxing and all the toxic effects of the drugs, it's hard to feel any better.

but ..maybe you will be one of the lucky ones who simply improves each month.

Hello fellow Canadian neighbor to the north [hi]

I got bite in western New York and my county tested 80% with borrella bourgdefori, mylamtoi, and bartonella.

Finally I got LLMD and started treatment for neurolyme. I have been treating for 2 months. Haven't worked for 7 months. I went the herbal route first but got worse.

It's been really slow in progress. But a lot of the scary, crazy Neuro symptoms have diminished . Seeing things, hearing things, face and arms and legs paralyzed, bugs crawling, body in constant vibrating mode, constant spasms and shakes and twitches are gone.

I'm still struggling and feel like I m dying. Chronic vertigo, dizziness, fatigue,PAIN, crying jags, depersonalizations, blurry vision, brain fog,eye pain, headaches, drop things, fall down, tinnitis, sleep problems, and others.

I gave you everything as per my experience.
I hope it helps.
We re all in this together my friend.

Right now, every day is torture and worse than the previous. Not sure if it's the herx or what but inability to sleep has led to the most incredible anxiety I can imagine. My overall physical health will totally give out long before 18 months so I sure hope I'm lucky and things improve sooner!!

lymeandceliac: everyone's different. I got better immediately. Like after a week, improved, two weeks even better, 2 months later I was 90% better.

I am now on Cowden Protocol and feeling pretty darn good.

I don't know why some people suffer more than others with this curse. I hope you are a good healer.

Anxiety = toxins, usually. Highly toxic. I wouldn't say 'lucky'...

I would do anything to clean those toxins off. Flush them off. Find your own protocol for binders, organ support (liver, kidney, lymph, gut).

Killing is just a TINY part of healing.

The more toxic you get, the more bacteria and FUNGI thrive. The less your immune system works to fight pathogens.
