Our non LLMD is ordering a Igenix test for my wife and son, but I imagine they only plan on ordering the Basic Lyme Panel. The order form lists about 9 different panels to choose from. The Basic and Initial are different in that the Basic has IFA LYme test while the Initial has the PCR instead. The Complete has both. And they both have WB of course. Any reason not to just get the basic? [confused]

I went with the basic myself. If you have a good doctor who knows how to interpret it, you're fine.

Does your doctor TREAT even if the test does not come back clearly positive?

I got the WB IgG and IgM .. Test #188-189

I believe my MD ordered the basic. I was positive by IFA.

IFA would be an additional test.
