Sooo I got my echocardiogram results and have yet to here from my cardiologist 😑
Is anyone familiar with this by any chance? I need some help interpretating this without reading too much into it.

Looks pretty good from what I know. Mine is pretty much the same with the regurgitation and I'm still alive and kicking!

Haha well that's a good thing then! Thank you for taking the weight off my shoulders!

It does sound awfully scary. Your doctor may say otherwise, but I can tell you that I've had this at least 15 yrs and I'm much older than you.
I also have A-fib. We can live through a lot of things. We are Lyme Warriors!

Is this something I'll have to monitor? My a**hole of a cardiologist couldn't even bother discussing the results with me.

- Seriously?? That's crazy.
Yes, just keep your appointments with the cardio docs.

I have regurgitation of all of my heart valves. This is new for me as of this past fall. It is due to my Ehler Danlos Syndrome.
My cardiologist says that it will gradually progress but we have to watch it to make sure that there are no sudden major changes.
I get an Echo every year.
If your Cardio does not answer your questions, find another doctor. Your PCP can usually recommend a good one.

Okay thank you lymetoo and sammy! I have an electrical problem in my heart where the top chamber sends its electricical signal too fast to the lower chambers as well. Idk if either or have anything to do with eachother but I guess I'll have to find a new cardio who is actually willing to discuss my results...

You are welcome, stefi!
Yes, minerals are very important for our heart's electrical system.

Yeah, the mild regurgitation is completely normal. Your next echo might not even show it. Your ejection fraction is amazing.
