Do you notice that when you stop treatment, that your body becomes ALIVE with so many more disturbances?
You feel more muscle twitches, pins/needles, burning, weakness, tremors/vibrations, & creepy crawling sensation?
As if after stopping treatment, Borrelia wakes up from cyst mode & misbehaves rather quickly? It literally feels like you have things crawling inside of you?

Ya im scared to stop for this reason...are you pulsing abx? Bvt?herbs? All 3?

I stayed on antibiotics for 6 years due to this reaction to stopping. My Lyme doctor told me I needed to stay on for life.
I went to a functional medicine doctor who told me there is a withdrawal reaction from antibiotics (I believe involving inflammation and rebound from immune system, but only as I remember.
I was determined to get off. Antibiotics messed with my gut and immune system: I now have so many food and medicine allergies and sensitivities. And the tetracyclines caused lupus for me (ANA 1: 5280).
Anyway so I went off and gave it 2-3 weeks for the withdrawal. For some it might be more. After that I felt much better than I did on antibiotics.
Noone seems to be aware of this withdrawal syndrome.
