I think I've read elsewhere of people having this, maybe not together. But I've had these particular symptoms for a few years, b4 dx w/Lyme (though they think I've had Lyme for 20+ years).
Is this a specific infection?

I've had the buzzing feeling in feet and occasionally legs. I can stop it by taking Cats Claw for Lyme and Japanese Knotweed and Houytenia for Bartonella.

So you think it might be lyme/coinfection related? Ive recently been having some tingling in both ankles and feet, tho not often and not long.
Also tingling when I press some parts of the bottom of my feet, and right toe.

Hey 6,

I had to think, but finally found where I saw a "sock" reference not too long ago.

THE Dr. B wrote a response with a clinical tip to some questions I posed about Bartonella. He said...

Response from Dr. B in NY

I agree with Dr. Breitschwerdt. Vascular insufficiency of small blood vessels can also result in inadequate blood supply to the peripheral nerves themselves, directly leading to local neurological symptoms.

Clinical hint- look for loss of hair just above the ankles (looks like the person wore tight socks which caused the hair to be rubbed away).

If there is hair on the legs but not distally, and especially if there is still hair on the feet/toes, with preserved pedal pulses, then small vessel insufficiency is assured. Dr. B

Don't know if that would partially explain your situation, but it is the closet thing that comes to mind right now.

Bartonella affecting the nerves. ??

I'm checking out the link now.
But I do see/feel hair in that area. And when I was looked at for vascular issues, my pcp said there were none (?)
I assume the vascular issues are a result of the lyme infection (or related infections)?
Bart seems to be the most common culprit I hear for any nerve stuff (and I have a lot of diff nerve issues). Also mycoplasma and lyme itself.
