I don't know if there is a connection but this is certainly strange.

I've had droopy eyelids for years. looks like I'm half asleep. dr said fatty deposits.

well since I have gone no sugar and am taking candida stuff, I swear they're getting smaller.

I woke up and looked in the mirror and went "whoa. I'm awake and can see my eyes." my eyids have actually gone up and it really looks like I've had an eyelift.

there must be something going on. any ideas?

I'm not sure, Randi, it's just a guess...

Candida, like lyme, can infect EVERYTHING.

It can cause inflammation everywhere (potentially).

Inflammation always comes with swelling (swollen eyes?).

Chronic candida is like chronic lyme: it may cause crazy minor symptoms and you don't know whether you are fighting infections or not.

like lyme. Some parts of your body have Bb, but you'll only know it when you attack it with right remedies (then you herx on places you had no idea were sick before!).

Maybe you had candida / mold there in the eyes? Very probable, specially with mold.
----------------------------------

Candida and inflammation block the lymph (it becomes sluggish). Like lyme.

Blocked lymph = it looks like swelling, in certain parts of the body.

------------------------------
Inflammation and infections = make the blood thicker, hard to move.

Consequence: more inflammation, more sluggishness, more swelling, more infections (bugs, parasites love that sluggish condition, as our immune system gets very low gear).

so some swelling is to be expected (inside and outside the body).

--------------------------------------
The last part of my guess is also lack of water: dehydration.

When I'm on that state, my whole skin gets floppy, non-elastic.

Not only candida, but other infections, our food, and toxins there, and 'bad' water (which means pretty much all water we drink in big cities, even if bottled as they are full of plastics, if you buy plastic bottles)... well many things can contribute to dehydration.

You attack candida, and you treat simultaneously lyme and other infections (in my opinion).

Everything you do against candida, will benefit your body, cancer-wise too, nutrition-wise.

Candida, like borrelia, is a big burden for the body. As big as borrelia in my opinion.

Good luck. I'm glad you're seeing some good results!!! finally!!!

Wow! Interesting!

What are you taking to fight the candida?

I'm taking asquared candida maximum support 1275 mg and plus oil pulling in the morning with coconut oil.

and totally free sugar. man, that's the killer.

there has to be something with no sugar, lactose, aspartame, sucrose etc. any ideas on what I can drink? I'm sick of water.

Stevia leaves, do a strong tea, then add the tea to anything.

It tastes a bit different than sugar, but I came to like the taste...

When you stop sugar and gluten, you realize how much we are addicted to these things. They control our brains, for sure.

once the first phase of cravings pass, it is very easy, I promise, to be away from sugar / gluten / even casein (milk products), if you have a RICH nourishing diet.

No nourishing diet to go over our old habits = you crave, crave, crave... Mineral rich foods, teas, soups, fermented veggies, raw veggies, whatever rich and healthy can really stop cravings AFTER the first weeks pass.

The first weeks will be unfortunately like the first weeks after a drug addict stops a drug. Very hard.

After, it goes rather easily. Specially with gluten, I find.

----------------------------------------

Aren't you craving for fats / oil / eggs / nuts / butter, stuff like that?

I usually crave these when I'm fighting candida (due to toxins)....

Eating sugar causes inflammation in the body, which can make your eyes puffy.

Sugar also causes the body to hold onto fat... hence the fatty deposits.

Triglycerides are a measure of fat in the blood, but the best way to lower it is to stop the sugar intake.

Fascinating - I didn't know there was hope for drooping eyelids! Keep us posted - sounds like you're doing well on the anti-candida regimen.
