A very close family member, whose health is my utmost concern, was recently rxed inhaler and the Flonase. Not sure about the albuterol but Flonase is a corticosteroid. Are either of these a concern for the immune system?

This was rxed to a family member and I prefer natural treatments. I just wanted u guys opinion. I would never try to talk anyone out of their meds, ever. I know pharma is absolutely necessary at times.

I would just like to be informed about these meds as I am not familiar with them. For awareness.

Thanks in advance

Yes, Flonase and Nasacort are basically the same medication. I told my story about when I was told to use these sprays daily.

You can read my post on this thread dated May 11:

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=125201;p=28#002075

The package insert said to stay away from people with measles and other sick people.

So, although this may not happen to everyone, it CAN happen to some people. I would use these sprays for as short a time as possible. Maybe 2 weeks would be OK, but definitely not indefinitely like I was told to do.

thanks TF. I don't think the Flonase is a necessity in this case. so ,perhaps we can eliminate that shortly.

appreciate the info.

Research C. Pneumoniae.

Paperback by a Wis. doc who also has a microbiology degree:

"A Cure for Asthma?" It is EXTREMELY good and is an easy read. Amazon.

I think he is right on!

Azith. - anti-inflammatory AND antibiotic...

or go here:

http://www.cpnhelp.org/home

It is a common infection in many of us that goes latent. It is a common co-infection in lyme and MS (re-emerge).

It is VERY (!) similar to Bb in many respects.

Cpn can trigger MANY disease processes as well as autoimmunity.
