I tried a brand a while back and got wired from it. Now tried another due to positive mold toxin tests and it knocks me out.

Turns out this one: takesumi supreme is made from carbonized bamboo. So am wondering are there different things the charcoal is made from?

most packing just says charcoal, what does that mean?

I heard something about some being processed with corn. I thought "NO WONDER I react to it!!"

Also, many water filters are charcoal made from COCONUT SHELLS. That's another thing I react to.

Seems like bamboo would be safe?

I use a product called MOSO for removing odors in cars and closets and it's bamboo. It's fine for that use.

Yes, activated charcoal can be made from different entities. My doc says to take Takesumi activated charcoal - it's from bamboo, it's an excellent product.

Takesumi works better for me. Regular charcoal doesn't help me with toxins like takesumi.

I do keep regular charcoal on hand for food poisoning or food allergies.

I know others have good results with both of them, we're all different.

how do you take the takesumi. It's loose black powder(I have a sample jar) do you mix it in water or take it straight with a glass of water?

I mix it with water or juice - very simple to do.

Interestingly charcoal made from animal bones will filter out fluoride.

Bone Char is just about the only thing that will filter fluoride out from water, based on my extensive research on water filters..

But thanks for the heads up on the Takesumi-- bet it does a good job on the mold toxins-- and I am very sensitive to these so I will give it a try..
