How do I get my brain/life back? Between long term neurological lyme and RMSF my ability to multi-task, learn new things, memorize, read anything of length or difficulty...think or write critically seems so incredibly impaired. (19 years sick)
Every time I relapse, it just seems to get worse long term. I also have lost creativity, stable emotions and creativity. I'm not the person I was. I am bored and boring...and I hate it.
I don't know what to do anymore. Help?

15 years sick here, brain fog, woozy, hard to concentrate and so much more.
The length of time being sick wares you down.
You posted scripture,great.
Seek God and strengthen your spirit.
Someday we will escape this.
have you tried Nac and mlybeduem,5htp,theanine?
Those supplements give me some relief from the brain stuff
Try and get your gut as healthy as you can,its responsible for so many neuro transmitters.
Day to day, talk to God
I feel for you and certainly can relate

Shoeless joe has good advice! Talking to God can definitely bring peace.
Have you treated for all coinfections?

here are a couple things that will help, they stimulate glutithione production and that helps your synapse function. In turn they will also help get toxins out that are a problem to cognitive function.

Finding out I was low thyroid and going on Armour thyroid helped me get my brain back. You would need to get bloodtests to see if you're low thyroid, and then there's a couple thyroid med options.
You need to be treating, in order to get anywhere. Are you treating Lyme and any co-infections? This is a marathon, not a sprint.

Robin 123, my Thyroid died a long time ago. I take a large dose of Synthroid and Liothyronine for T3 &T4. I think the Rocky Mountain has definitely increase the psychological issues, both paranoia and depression. Lyme conflates it.
It's been a 19 year marathon, I am quite weary of. I am currently on a 6 week regime of Doxy than began at 25mg and is slowly working up to 200mg. I have about 1.5 weeks to go.
JeffJeff, Glutithione treatments, even IV never did anything for me, unfortunately. I take Deplin and B12 methycobalmine (sp?) for my MTFR methlation issues, plus Banderol.
Yes, Shoeless Joe and Foxyloxy...prayer is essential. I don't think I could have made it through the last ten years without God. Thanks for the reminder. It's just really hard when your body and your mind turn against you.
Thank you all for responding, this can be a very lonely road we travel. With scant sympathy...and no empathy.

EWT1638 WE all understand and have been there. I was loosing hope last year after treating for over a year and just getting worse. I started to see an LLMD that TF recommended Dr. S has, She has changed my life. She really follows the Burrascano method and works with you to figure out what your body needs to get well. If you are interested pm me and I can give you more details. Never loose hope!!1

EWT .. Nature Throid or Armour may help you more, but you would need to find a smart doctor.

EWT1638~
You describe it well. I had chronic, severe neuroLyme, with the same brain/neuro issues as you mention, and more. I felt more reptilian than human.
I am completely well now, med free, and have my life and all of my functioning back, thanks to mild hyperbaric.
I know comprehension is difficult, but please consider reading the mild hyperbaric thread (30+ pages), even if only one page a day. You can post there with questions, and find lots of help and support.
