My ALT is 52. Not extremely high, but too high. It's usually in the 30s, so it's not normal for me. My creatinine is barely within normal range, and it's normally well within range.
I speculate it's either nexium causing it, or just a bad herx. Any advice welcome. I take milk thistle and cordyceps, but nothing else that's would really support the kidneys or liver.
Just kinda scary and depressing...

My liver enzymes have been in a slightly elevated range as well - over several months. I had been on aggressive ABX regimen when they first rose.
I am off the ABX now and levels are still high. I have been taking milk thistle but it hasn't really made much of a change. This is concerning to me too.
My WBC is also on low side. I am due for more blood work, so hoping things are closer to normal. I have read and heard that bartonella can cause high liver enzymes. I don't test positive for this, but do for brucellosis and I know there is some cross reactivity between the two diseases.

You sound a lot like me. My enzymes are usually fine but they've gone up with herxes before. I test positive for brucella too but not Bart. My WBC is usually on the low side too except when I'm herxing, then it goes up.
Thinking about adding sida actua. It's supposed to protect the liver. Also CBD oil maybe, its possibly hepatoprotective too.
