Most of these studies are in vitro first. In vivo studies usually follow promising in vivo studies.

Anyone familiar with "The Tick Slayer" website?
She used essential oils and got well. Had one month, I believe, of IV antibiotics, which only made her feel worse.
It is a good website on DIY treatments. However, she took them internally. She states you don't have to do that, just rubbing on the skin will work.
I personally think it is best not to swallow. You could be allergic to these. And these are highly concentrated and may cause problems.
Use very low dosing (one drop in one ounce of oil, for example) and rub a little bit of this each day on the skin and see how it affects you.
Go slow, these can be powerful.

Caution: Do not overdo the oils. If you react negatively "NOT EVERYTHING IS A HERX!!"
You can become sensitive and cause real harm to yourself. Some of us become sensitive to salicylates and that is a bear.

I agree LymToo. These oils are highly concentrated and should be very very diluted.
Not everything is a herx and herxing can be harmful.
