We have tried

Doxycycline & Tinidazole,

Doxycycline/Bactrim/Rifampin,

Amoxicillin & Probenecid,

Tetracycline & Diflucan,

Zithromax & Mepron (yes for Lyme).

We have hit a plateau and not improving further after an initial improvement.

What combinations of antibiotics (specifically antibiotics please)

have you found that has worked well for you?

Why not moving to another approach than drugs only?

The patient in question is unable to follow an herbal protocol such as Buhner's at this time.

Hence, the request for antibiotic combinations that have worked for patients on this forum.

I will be posting the Goode Protocol soon, based on the latest science. Just not enough hours in a day.

sorry I can't help.

I never took too many antibiotics and I don't believe it will deal with chronic lyme.

I hope other people jump in to tell their experience.

Sadly, no one is responding with their antibiotic combinations.

I guess that those who were successfully treated
are no longer on this forum.

Is there another more active Lyme forum?

www.healingwell.com is a good active lyme forum.

I had 2 different combos that were good for me that you have not tried.

Clindamycin + Quinine

Minocycline + Plaquenil

Minocycline by itself or in combination was great for me also. I had okay results with Doxycycline

To get to my first 1st LLMD visit I was placed in the back seat with head phones and eye mask. I couldn't walk or talk. I was dying from undiagnosised chronic Neuro Lyme.

I started treatment in Dec '16 and by Sept '17, I returned to work part-time. It was a miracle.

I treated with doxy, azithromycin, Rifamin, nystatin, Plaquenil, and pulsed flagyl on weekends. I was at 75% and felt good.

Alas, many relapses since.
It was nice while it lasted.

I won't give up.
I will keep researching, adding, subtracting new therapies.
Others have gotten well and we will too ! [group hug]

Thank you so much for these suggestions. I am learning every LLMD has their own favorite combinations.

Yes, hitting a plateau was bad enough. The recent relapse was discouraging. And I’m with you about not giving up.
