This page on the Maryland Lyme website is where I've been collecting information on exotic ticks that are spreading across the country.

The scarey thing is no one is actively monitoring the situation.

The most recent entry is about the new ticks found in NJ and the link under that abstract has the new article about the latest disease. It's a bad one.

By importing EXOTIC animals, it seems.
