I have had a UTI for about a month and a half and it has survived 4 rounds of different antibiotics. Right now I'm on a 30 day round of the antibiotic Keflex. Do any of you have suggestions on what might help me treat the UTI? My urine tested positive for E. Coli

I was reading about IC the other day - saw something about baking soda for IC - and also for UTI's. Might be worth researching/looking into.

I just went through this and it sucks! I'm so sorry! Vaginal ozone or high dose iodine for 2 days

OMG.... I would LOAD myself with antioxidants and those alkaline mineral powders, 3-5 times a day.
The urine gets very very acid - that is why it burns.
I would stop all acid foods (like meats, sugar, even fish, chicken) and eat only veggies and fruits.
It' must be scary... Sorry to know you're going through that.
i would also add nosodes, instead of drugs, in case bugs are already resistant.
In case of doubt, I would make a nosode with my own urine and drink that (that's what I do when I'm on a trip and do not want to spoil it going to ER....). It never failed, in my experience.
I start with a 3X, a lot of drops, then increase to 5 or 6X, then 12X-15X, and that usually take care of the whole infection.
It takes much longer than antibiotics (that usually knock an infection in a matter of hours, at least symptoms), but it is safer, long term....

My daughter did 10 days of Invanz injections. It helped her turn the corner after 18 months of chronic UTIs/interstitial cystitis. She is treated by Ruth Kriz in DC, a nurse practitioner who does Skype appointments.

Thanks everyone <3
I started D-Mannose two days ago and I'll keep you guys posted. Hopefully this will cure it. So far the burning when my bladder feels full and the hot feeling when urinating is worse and my urine was barely coming out when I first started it, {it might be making my Interstitial Cystitis flare} but maybe it's one of those treatments that makes you feel worse before you feel better.
