Hi I have a compromised immune system ( who doesnt!) but functioning at 27%! My LLMD is excellent but says its difficult to get this and very expensive. I already had a botched picc line that caused a clot in my vein so probably have to go with the portacath. UGH. I know a nurse must administer the IVIG but would like to know if anyone is on this, or dine it and feels better after treatment. Im on over 60 supplements per day. Im thinking i could get better with IVIG. Appreciate any info and help.

My LLMD ordered mine. You don't need a PICC line or port to administer it. I went to the infusion center at the hospital to get it for years.
Then I switched to subQ and did it myself at home. I liked the subQ MUCH better.
My Total IgG was very low in addition to subclasses 1,2,3 and 4.

Hi Truly
I can help you with IVIG.
Here are my posts on my journey towards getting insurance covered IVIG treatments. I get infusions at home, 1x a month, by a nurse. And yes, they help greatly. Not a magic bullet but combined with other treatments, you will feel better. Everything works in unison. Hope this helps.
