Once in a while, as I'm treating and doing my detoxing, I notice an ammonia smell in the toilet after I go. I'm assuming this is a part of detoxing and my body getting rid of the ammonia from the die-off? Just want to make sure.

Google: ammonia "lyme disease" liver

you will see several good explanations there and some clue as to what to do about it. It's common with lyme yet still something to act upon with very specific supportive action.

Thank you Keebler. Couple questions...

1) When I Google your suggestion, I'm just seeing articles that suggest ammonia-reducing agents like L-Ornithine, Yucca Root, Hydroxy B12, Dr Jernigan's Neuro-Antitox II Formula CNS/PNS, etc, etc. Are these the steps to take you are referring to? I just don't see anything related to ammonia and the liver in these articles...unless I'm missing the obvious.

2) Are binders like Clay & Charcoal supposed to remove the excess ammonia in our bodies or are they not as good for that compared to the agents I mentioned above?? Confused over this.

Thank you.
