And that are just the cancer cells that were not screened...

Imagine all the bacterial, viral and G-knows-what pathogens the donor has (even if they are dormant for the donor) that will go to the recipient....

If they can't find lyme /viruses / parasites in VERY ill patients, imagine finding chronic lyme in patients that barely have any clear symptoms.

I guess we have to consider ourselves lucky if a transplanted organ works without a lot of complications. Very lucky.

I really believe the medical establishment have no idea what they are doing. Between blood, stem cells, and organs their screening process sucks.

I have never felt it responsible to be an organ donor once diagnosed with Lyme and co-infections.

I couldn't believe a donor organization tried to recruit me!!! I was told these days it's all handled. As Brussels says, it's not handled with all of us who have been dealing with all of this for years!!

I have always planned on being a donor when my time came. That is probably going to be one of my life's biggest regrets.
