I just took my first dose of Mepron this morning. Suddenly, I feel like I must lay down.
Can you get sudden onset nausea and head pressure and just feel like you HAVE to lay down and rest?
I have never really had any classic symptoms of babesia but I tested positive on the DNAConnections test recently.
When my DD was in treatment, she never tested positive for it either, and she also didn't have any classic symptoms. It wasn't until they treated her anyway that she turned a corner and started getting better.
I just didn't think I would feel this way one hour after taking my first dose.

Thank Tutu! I am still super tired taking the Mepron, and I also have horrible heartburn with it. So far I haven't found anything about reflux with Mepron, just nausea.
I slept three hours yesterday and went straight to sleep last night.

You should try taking Mepron with fat. I've found that dairy works the best but that's obviously not ideal for the Lyme diet. Some people use peanut butter. But, you must take it with fat otherwise you will have horrible nausea, at least.

Thanks Owillie. I do fat with it but doctor said to up it a bit so I will do that tomorrow. I've found a good low carb shake with 31g of fat.
