With heavy heart and great sadness, I am starting over.
After 3 months of sickness and dealing with mainstream doctors for help and getting nowhere but sicker, I finally made an appointment with my LLMD.
I have babesia that came out of nowhere. New symptoms I never had in my 6 year health journey. I am starting new treatment protocol today.
With viruses, mold allergies, strep, and mono, immune system overworked, dormat infections come alive.
I am really sad.

So sorry to hear, Bonnie! Once you get babesia behind you, things will definitely be looking UP!

- Rather than "starting over" how about "getting down to business" now? Some sense of relief is deserved.
Most of us have been around so many blocks before finding the right roads for our needs - and it's always a bit of of complicated journey.
Even when seemingly "new" stuff appears, it's a good thing it finally raised its head so it can be addressed. Still, sure, there's that ". . . ugh!" to acknowledge when it seems we take steps backward. It may just be more more of a pivot, though.
How about thinking of it as a brand new chapter, a different kind of road, adjusting the aspects of your adventure?
That all might sound a bit yippy-skippy yet, really, nothing can negate what you have learned along the way. Even when things don't work out as we'd like, hope, need - well, the path you've been on has yielded some important elements and sifted out some not important as well..
Yet, "cheers" for turning a corner on your approach. I hope you can feel lighter after turning this corner and being in a fresh new "neighborhood" so to speak with new options. -

Hi Bartenderbonnie~
Maybe an opportunity to reconsider mHBOT?
If so, let me know; I'm happy to help you get started.

The treatment that helped my Bb was Malarone with round of Coartem. I am wondering if I have it back too.
Posted by Bartenderbonnie (Member # 49177) on :
I am on malarone and azith. After 5 days, headache gone. After 7 days, constant night sweats and fatigue gone. Amazing combo.
Still dealing with vertigo, pain, tinnitius, blurry vision, melancholy.

Update:
Within a 3 week period, I have been diagnosised with babesia, Hashimoto's(low thyroid), anemia(low iron), hypoglycemia(low glucose), high EBV, high m pneumonia, and low levels of brucellosis.
These are all new symptoms.
I got sick in September due to outdoor mold spores, I believe. Downward spiral for my immune system. All latent infections have reared their ugly heads.
Boy is this tough. I still have my sense of humor in between my crying jags.
The only thing rare about Lyme disease is getting a diagnosis of Lyme disease.

Update;
Good news.
After 3 months of antimalarials, I am no longer bedbound. Energy is back, headaches gone, vertigo diminished greatly, night and day sweats gone, brain fog comes and goes.
Still dealing with bad b.o., blurry vision, and muscle loss and weakness.
Went to gym yesterday. Almost had to leave a few times due to over stimuli. Huge step after the confines on my bedroom.
Stay in the battle and fight. We all deserve to get better. We are so worth it !!!!!!!!!

I am so glad to hear you are so much better. Me, well I am still the same. Can I ask you a question Bonnie? When you say vertigo, do you mean spinning of the room or off balance. I have constant off balance issues for a year now. Not seeing anyone nor am I on any meds. Need help bad. What are antimalarials?

Hi lindadanis
Please get yourself to a qualified Tick Borne Infection Specialist. It will make all the difference in the world. You cannot treat yourself, it will not go away on its own. This is not just a life-challenging condition but a life-threatening health condition. You must take action now.
You will be put on the proper meds and will be monitored by monthly blood work. All your health issues will be addressed. You will start to feel better and will make progress to getting your life back.
A tick is a sewer of infections. Lyme comes with co-infections. I have the 3 B's, borrelia, bartonella, and Babesia. Antimalarials are for Baesia.
I have vertigo (spinning) and I have balance issues. If I didn't have toes, I wouldn't be able to walk. My toes grasp the floor for balance. When I'm laying down, it feels like I'm falling. I had to buy a shower chair due to risk of falling. I had to hold on to furniture or walls to move from room to room.
I even forgot how to open my eyes ! I had to concentrate in order to open my eyelids.
I am better. Much better. You can get well too. But not on your own. You need medical attention. Come on GIRL ! ! !

Yesssss!! I'm so happy for you, Bonnie!
For the b.o., try Body Mint supplements or a chlorophyll supplement. Chlorophyll works as an internal deodorizer and has tons of health benefits
