does anybody know if band 41 igG can trigger the human herpes virus (HHV-6) because i mostly have severe depression and problems with executive functioning skills (cognitive) which is also leading to mood swings sometimes on the violent level not too mention fatigue issues. I tested only positive for that band through quest labs. Should I request a hhv6 antibody test igg and igm? thanks

Band 41 is the flagellin band for any spirochete, including the Lyme one. I don't think it triggers anything else.

Cognitive challenge goes along with Lyme disease, as does fatigue.

Severe fatigue can result from babesia. Violent mood swings can happen due to bartonella.

If anything, I'd suggest you look at a list of symptoms for both of these co-infections and see whether you match any of them, and if so, you could consider testing for them. Just know that not all tests come back positive and it's often a clinical judgement.

I had difficulties concentrating until I got my thyroid boosted. So you could also get bloodtested for thyroid levels.

I'd also look into mold exposure.

I agree with Robin, I don't think band 41 has anything to do with HHV-6.
