Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and this is my first post, so hello! I'm here hopefully for some support on my Lyme journey, and I'm keen to offer the same to others too.

To kick things off I wondered if anyone else has tried the combination of daptomycin, doxycycline and ceftriaxone? Discovery Medicine recently published details of a study from Johns Hopkins University that seemed to show some real positive results from this combination (in mice...).

Article here: http://www.discoverymedicine.com/Jie-Feng/2019/03/persister-biofilm-microcolony-borrelia-burgdorferi-causes-severe-lyme-arthritis-in-mouse-model/

And summary here: https://www.jhsph.edu/news/news-releases/2019/three-antibiotic-cocktail-clears-persister-lyme-bacteria-in-mouse-study.html

I have personally used the Buhner herb protocol for some time, with only limited success, and have been on and off antibiotics too, but never the combination above. (I believe I was infected for around two years before diagnosis)

Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Martin

Hi Martin:

This doctor uses this protocol but I don't have a link for his research results.

People often confuse Dapsone and Daptomycin. Dapsone is not the front-running anti-persister...It is Daptomycin.
