I just went to a LLND last week and am taking meds for bartonella and Babesia. I have been treated for both of these infection before.

My primary symptoms are daily headaches (which immediately stop when I am on Bactrim), sore soles of feet in morning, and exhaustion, with exercise intolerance.

When I first started the ABX, I felt extremely anxious and could not sleep.

Most of my symptoms seem to be bartonella with the exception of the exhaustion.

Does bart cause exhaustion? I often feel like I am going to collapse and have to sit down. It makes me nauseated if I do not do so, and things begin to black out. It feels like I just ran while holding my breath - no oxygen.

Any ideas?

Thanks BCB, that is the most comprehensive list I have ever seen. Seems like it might be bart causing my exhaustion and feeling of having no oxygen rather than Babesia.

I have treated bart three times.

Chronic Viruses and Enterovirus cause exhaustion too. As well as many other symptoms. They pop in and out of activation because our immune system is so weak.

Abx won't do a thing for these chronic viruses. Just adds to the problem by making us more ill with yeast/candida/fungi growth. Of yes they also make us exhausted.

It's never just bacteria(s). It's this concept that is finally getting folks over the hump and feeling better.

I wasted treating way too many years thinking bacteria(s) alone.

Pam
