Scott, I thought I was as well as I would ever be and quit treatment five years ago. I ignored symptoms thinking I was just getting old. Now it has hit me really strong and I realize just how sick I am.

So I would advice you to get treatment now. Look into some of the newer treatment like Disulfiram (Antabuse). It would be best to start it before you allow yourself to slip into a complete relapse so you can recover faster.

I feel like this has affected my mind so that I am not fighting it the way I used to.

Get treated. I wasn't able to start back on antibiotics right away because my gut was a mess, and now I am a mess, including my brain. I'm getting better, but it is so scary. Didn't think this would happen again, but it did.

Please get tested ASAP. I had been Post Lyme 3 years ago. I had my knee replaced two years, then six month after that I got shingles. Felt crappy for a while. I lived in NY during the first go around. I moved to Florida & had been feeling sleepy, joint pain. Finally got tested and everything lit up red!

Just started meds again week & half ago.......having horrible herxing and horrific pain. Please get tested!

Sorry to hear. I had a bad relapse in 2015 so I've been there. Managed to claw my way back using herbs (no abx.)

One thing to consider, perhaps it isn't Lyme. I had what I thought was a flare up a few months back and it was really a thyroid issue. Feel pretty good now that I'm taking some meds.

Feel Better!
