- You may need more direct, targeted approach, though certainly one that would be tolerable.
A good LL ND will know how to combine Rx with key supplements. "Leaky Gut" is also key to address the many causes / contributing factors. If "Leaky Gut" is in the picture, it may be best to back of harsher treatment and focus intently on restoring the gut permeability.
Though, infections can certain cause the gut to become "leaky" and so can some Rx, even some supplements and certain certain foods such as gluten . . . and plants containing lectins & oxalates.

Probiotic which prevents c.diff and keeps the diarrhea away.
