Been fighting Lyme for awhile now I have took amoxicillion with clavox , cephalexion and now they are putting me on Doxycyline
I'm extremely scared to take this stuff. It says possible side effect is brain sweeling and that scares the hollyness right out of me.
I do not oike taking meds never really had a bad allergic reaction to any but its kind of my phobia. Has this medicine ever truly harmed anyone.
My main Lyme symptoms are massive headaches I'm on day 8 of a 8 day straight one right now and fatigue I wake up open my eyes I just want to shut them again no energy at all Working 8 hours seems like a 24 shift.
Any input would be great. I'm sitting here looking at these pills for 2 days now and can't manage to take one.

So very sorry Mike. You slipped through the cracks and that's unacceptable.
I can't believe you are still working. You are a super trooper for sure. Many report feeling worse during treatment. You must make sure you never get behind in sleep, very important.
I have heard of brain swelling due to untreated Lyme disease, encephalitis. Inflammation of the brain is also common. Antibiotics can cause die off called a herx, but antibiotics are considered anti-inflammatories
The reality is Lyme sufferers get much sicker by not treating.
Anxiety is HUGE in Lyme and co-infections. The only way through for me was Xanax. Hope this helps.
