Thank you lymetoo. I used it when I was finally treated for

Lyme and coinfections back in 2009 after finally getting a
positive test from Igenex. I had no issues with yeast or bowel

troubles using klaire and kefir. I’ve had diarrhea hand loosestools for 30 days straight after taking a maintenance

round of doxy. Feeling desperate to resolve this dr did blood panel last week, everything was normal ??!!??!

Always take probiotics when on antibiotics.

Hope you find some soon. The best for diarrhea is Florastor. Go to Walmart or Walgreen's ASAP.

My young adult son uses Theralac. Make sure you take the probiotics two hours before or after taking antibiotics or else you'll be killing off the good bacteria (which you need) long with the bad!

Btw - I know you are new to Lymenet, but you should not use your real name, because this is a public forum with all sorts of people on it. Read this link about it:

Whatever probiotic you choose, using Arthur Andrew's Floraphage with it will multiply it's effect anywhere from 4 to 52 times, depending on the probiotic. For the money, Floraphage is the best thing that has ever happened to probiotics. It can turn a normal dose of a few probiotic capsules to something that has the strength of a bottle of probiotics. Because of its power, increasing the dose of probiotics taken with Floraphage needs to happen slowly and carefully; otherwise you can cause die-off. I usually increase the dose by half a capsule a week, and only experience die-off the day of the increase.

I have no financial connection to Arthur Andrew, but have benefitted from their products, which can be found at arthurandrewmedical.com.

Thanks everyone, I did stool studies and waiting for results. I believe I have cdiff. [Frown] I was helping my 93 yro aunt for several months. No one told me that she had been treated for cdiff. Hers was resistant after her 4th round of vanc. They did a transplant. So I’m afraid that may be what’s going on with me.

I like and use Probiotic 12 from Amazon. Take one or two between meals.

Compare price to Klaire which has a higher dose, but looks to have same probiotics.

Many (if not all) of the probiotics mentioned here do not have a very effective delivery system; the stomach acid kills most of the payload before it gets to the small or large intestine.

I learned about Master Supplements back in 2007, when I experienced yeast overgrowth (candida). I started taking their enzymes and probiotics with botanicals --and got rid of the (acute) problem in 8 weeks.

They make the ONLY probiotics that get the entire payload to the small intestine -- or large intestine. Their TruBifido specifically targets the large intestine. Again, no other company can do that.

They also use strains that are clinically tested. Every bottle is third-party tested and you can plug the lot# into their website to see the actually CFU tests for that lot and bottle.

Think I am biased? You betchya. [Razz]

Thanks y’all, went to the dr yesterday, all tests were negative, blood tests, stool studies and ct scan. Referring me to a go specialist. Glad it’s not cdiff but now I fear it may be something worse?!
