I'm wondering if people know anyone who has tested negative for COVID but still has a moderate flu like illness?

Oh yes, a couple in this period of time. This last time, I went to the hospital to get tested for covid. It was negative. So I asked the hospital staff how does anyone know if their flu is covid or not? Answer: you don't know. Sounds nuts to me, not being able to tell, but, whatever.
I still think the virus has been weaponized, so not to play around.
I take lots of immune boosters. Still I get flus. But who knows if immune boosting does afford some protection against the covid one...
