I got my dr to prescribe some Cromolyn solution you mentionned in a post a while back that's helping with these crazy food allergies; only partially, but that's OK, partial help is still help.
The other drug you mentionned, ketotifen, is available at the out-of-the country pharmacy I do business with, alldaychemist.com, based in India, which has an OK reputation, as a generic product, Ketasma, for 25 cents per one milligram pill.
Do you have an opinion about the effectiveness of ketotifen, especially as compared to Cromolyn solution?
Thanks, GVS

Many people with MCAS take both. I have held off on taking the ketotifen because it can make you really really tired.
I have enough issues with TIRED.
Then there is the added cost, but you have a good deal there.
You could try a small amount. Some take just 1 or 2 mg per day.
I love the cromolyn because it helps my gut issues, fatigue, pain, flushing, etc.
It's a pain because you have to constantly be ready for the next dosage. I take it 3-4 times a day and it has to be taken on an empty stomach.

I need an alternative to alldaychemist. They don't seem to have what I want - Nystatin and the right dose of Fluconazole. Feel free to send me a message.
