Hey guys,

What's the best supplement for anxiety? Saint John's wort or lithium ororate?

I'm looking more into Saint John's wort but I don't know how well that touches anxiety.

Thanks 💚

You might consider Nerve Blend by Soloray.

Passion Flower, I used to get it in tablets and currently have liquid. It similar to Serax an old mild antianxiety drug but it is an herb. It was used by Native Americans for many things. Also,CBD oil is good for anxiety.

5-HTP, CBD oil, GABA and maybe Pregnenolone? I hope you find something that works for you.

I had extreme anxiety in the beginning of my health journey.
Scared to drive, thought of car crashes.
Scared to shower or bath, thought I would drown.
Scared to cook, thought of a fire.
Scared to lay down, thought I would fall through bed.
Scared to be alone, saw shadowy people.
Scared to go to sleep, slept with phone dialed to 9 1 _

Doctor put me on Xanax 25mg and it SAVED my life.

Be careful with CBD oil, Unfortunately it made my anxiety way worse, triggered panic attacks

NADH can be amazing for support of antioxidants and neurotransmitters.
And that can result in clear improvements with anxiety and panic attacks.

For example:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20447621/
quote:
Administration of oral NADH was associated to a decrease in anxiety and maximum heart rate, after a stress test in patients with CFS.

From something I posted in 2016,

Lithium orotate really helped calm down my neuro lyme brain. The first stuff I bought had magnesium stearate and other ingredients which did not agree with my digestive tract. After that, I bought the 5 mg lithium orotate from Pure Encapsulations and that worked well for me.

You should not self-medicate and prescribe medications. The exception may be bioactive substances and herbal medicines. With anxiety, the tincture from motherwort helped me most of all. It helps to calm the nervous system and even out the heart rate. Although due to some body features, motherwort is not suitable for everyone.
First, it is necessary to analyze your psychological activity and possibly undergo therapy from ***********. Often the causes of anxiety or excitement are psychological or mental problems.
Contact a specialist so that he can conduct a full consultation.

Bartenderbarbie,

I looked up xanax and it says it is a benzo? If so do you know how it is different from ativan and klonipin?

Benzos are troublesome, to say the least.

Mountainsky,

I feel St. John's is more effective in bringing up the mood rather than for anxiety. It can bring sunlight to dark moods/days so to speak. But dosing, sourcing also matters with herbs.

If you feel like sharing more about your anxiety-how it manifests, when, what it feels like and where it is in the body/mind it can help with herbal recommendations. You can pm this to me if that's more comfortable for you but no pressure.

Lithium orotate is also sometimes used for anxiety, but it's also important to use caution with this supplement. It can be toxic if taken in large doses, so following the recommended dosage on the label and talking to your healthcare provider before taking it is important.
On another note, I found an interesting article about kratom, a natural supplement that some people use to manage anxiety and stress. The article lists some of the best kratom vendors out there, so it might be worth checking out if you're curious, source: https://www.outlookindia.com/outlook-spotlight/best-kratom-vendors-news-236504.
