I've noticed that psychology is being incorporated more and more into medical treatment, this including a lot of personal and intrusive questions.

Has anyone actually been helped by this, especially anyone with lyme? Feels more like data collection to me. I don't trust it and it just creates more stress. We already have a history of being categorized as mental to begin with.

Any comments or experiences?

You are correct that it is beginning to be more and more diverse and applied. Maybe it is already not at the beginning. I really think it helps in some ways, but if you still do not trust this method, I can recommend you try to do a reaction Psychology paper. This way, you can see what really bothers you or understand certain aspects. I've done something like this, and I feel much better morally. However, I think you should at least once resort to this method. Maybe you are afraid for no reason. You shouldn't be scared to try something new.
