I haven't been posting much recently due to electromagnetic sensitivities and feeling overwhelmed, but I am needing help to prepare healthy foods, exercise, etc. I was in the past very disciplined. Mold and EMF's in environment are more, and I have less money for alternative treatments. I have been diagnosed for 17 years, and I have tried many things. I am very discouraged. Low-toxic housing is extremely important, but I can't afford it.

I just realized this sounds like a post for emotional support, but I was thinking primarily about a supplement or other physical modality that would help. I'm open to physical or other ideas.

Are you able to get out and do some walking or other exercise?

It's very very hard, I'm with you.
A majority of my job is sitting down and obviously sitting in front of a computer. I am thinking of joining a different gym, it's only $10 a month so if I can't go alot it won't be a waste of $.
It's very hard to go through this disease and have self discipline. Trying to eat healthy, test out different " diets" (lack of a better word sorry, lol). exercise (cardio or no? weight training or?) get a good nights sleep, mold, metal, emf detox etc..yada yada yada.
That can be overwhelming for even someone not in treatment for Lyme.

Lymetoo, I feel stuck on the exercise issue. I injured my foot, and I didn't have peace about the surgery as the surgeon said it was "a very difficult surgery".
Wow! When a surgeon says it's difficult, that gets my attention. I asked him if I could wait, and he said yes.
I have met people that had the same injury (but perhaps less severe) and lived with it. Unfortunately, it has become worse.
In just the last month it has kept me from exercising, but I also have been eating more carbs. A low-carb diet has been an important part of reducing my symptoms.
I'm in a place with environmental issues, and I can't seem to find the right alternative. My joints and thinking and motivation are worse from this environment.

Question - have you noticed whether you feel any better being in a building other than where you live, with the mold and EMF issues? If so, those could be weighing you down. People often have to leave a moldy environment in order to start functioning better.
People in my area are in various groups and they put out notices that someone needs to be in a better housing environment. Do you have any environmental groups in your area you could join to ask that question?
Re exercise - any chance to get into a pool? Maybe you could let the foot relax there and move the rest of your body. It would be good for your lymph system too, to get some more movement.
How about better carbs like yams, sweet potatoes, etc - you could research the better carbs that are nutritious and fill you up.
There are a lot of healthy food experts online - you could google for it, watch youtube videos, etc.
If you have any health groups, even Lyme support groups in your area you could join, that could help break the isolation and be more fun, and supportive, chatting with everyone. Even online, on facebook - there are groups, so you don't to be alone with all this.

Robin123, yes, I'm in a building with some mold. I'm new to this city. What would I google to find a group? Thank you for ideas.

yes, I feel the same.... it is quite a CHALLENGE.
I think sweating helps me, although that is not easy for me to achieve these days.
I just read that bart can cause a lot of issues in this area so I am going to try to really work on bart right now.

I hear ya, jubilee. Sigh!
I'm sitting at home today due to hip pain. I usually go to cardiac rehab, which I enjoy. I'm hoping it will be OK by Monday.
I hope you can find something to relieve the issues.
