I need a tooth removed and the DDS with be filling the hole left from the removal with bone material and my platelets. That way my body will create my own bone and the old bone will be taken away by my own body. This is so my gum doesn't grow over the hole and I will have the ability to get a replacement tooth with my own bone eventually there.
He said the bone material is neutral and doesn't have the risk of body rejecting it like other body replacement parts.
But I wanted to check if anyone had info on MCAS that relates to something like this.
I currently am on a low histamine diet, take H1 and H2 blockers, Histaquel and Quercetin Phytosome. I am doing quite well with symptom management.
Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been undergoing a process of a bone graft and replacement tooth where I always had a very short root. I was told decades ago it would come to this.
I'm at the last step where an impression has been done and a "tooth" is being made.
Through this entire time, months, I haven't felt any indication of tissue rejection, infection, or any negative results.
I just wish it didn't take so long.

I just looked up MCAS. I have much more to learn about it.
I have had some of the symptoms at times, but always blamed any symptoms on Lyme disease. At this point I would say I don't have it.
Hopefully, someone who has more knowledge will reply.
